Video Production 1, 2, and 3

Brief Program Description: This program is comprised of three (3) competency-based courses. Each provides technical instruction and practical experience for aspiring video production assistants who want to work in the pre-production, production, and post-production phases of TV and video creation.
Each course focuses on the use of camera, sound and lighting equipment, and studio and field production techniques. The courses also explore the creation of documentaries, social media content, business promotional videos, web-series, wedding videos, and corporate videos. Courses also include the basics of job shadowing, internships, and job placement.
The competencies in these courses are aligned with the California High School Academic Content Standards and the California Career Technical Education Model Curriculum Standards.

Separate costs for books, exams, supplies, preparation, certifications and/or licenses provided by outside vendors may be incured.
Once a Certificate of Completion is earned in a course, that course cannot be repeated.
