Message From The Principal

Welcome to Venice Skills Center!

We’re thrilled to have you as part of our community! Whether you’re here to learn English, complete your high school diploma, or gain new job skills, we’re dedicated to helping you succeed.

Here are some tips to help you succeed:

  • Set Clear Goals: Know what you want to achieve and remember those goals. Our counselors are ready to help you plan your path.

  • Stay Engaged: Participate in your classes, ask questions, and seek help when you need it. The more you engage, the more you’ll learn.

  • Manage Your Time: Balance your studies with other responsibilities. Create a schedule that works for you and stay on track.

  • Use Our Resources: We offer a range of resources, including Disability Support Services, Counseling, Financial Support, and connections to community resources. Don’t hesitate to use them!

  • Make Attendance a Priority: Show up every day. If you can’t make it, let your teacher know. Regular attendance is key to your success.

  • Build Connections: Get to know your instructors and classmates. A strong support network can make a big difference in your journey.

As your principal, I pledge to:

  • Support You: I’m committed to providing the resources and guidance you need to succeed.

  • Create a Positive Environment: I will ensure that Venice Skills Center remains a safe, respectful, and inclusive space where everyone can thrive.

  • Be Accessible: I’m here to listen to your concerns, celebrate your successes, and help you overcome any challenges you face.
